- Plug the HI-HAT lead on the module's signal-connection harness into the hi-hat pad; the controller runs on its own separate lead (p.9).
- Note: there is no hi-hat-control jack on the panel — the socket diagram runs TRIGGER INPUT, TOM4, CRASH2, L/MONO, R, AUX IN, USB. The controller reaches the module on its own harness lead, and pedal response is set in the menu (HH.L, HH.S).
Module settings
- Press the MENU button, use +/- to select 2-PAD SET, and press OK to enter the pad parameter interface.
- Tap the hi-hat pad to select it, then press + / - to choose a parameter and turn the encoder to set the value (press OK to confirm).
- Set Pad Sen (surface sensitivity, 1-6), HH.L (stomp cymbal sensitivity, 1-3), HH.S (stomp cymbal speed, 1-3), Threshold (trigger threshold, 1-32), and Volume (0-127).
- Press SAVE to store the settings.
Tips
- HH.L (stomp cymbal sensitivity) and HH.S (stomp cymbal speed) tune the pedal response (p.11).
