The 11" Hi-Hat Controller works on your Yamaha DTX400K with reduced zones.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× pad + HH65 pedal controller → via cable snake

HH65 controller is switch-type (open/closed only). No continuous pedal control.

Cable routing

  1. The hi-hat pad and HH65 pedal connect via the single multi-pin cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Very limited trigger settings. No dedicated trigger sensitivity menu. Parameters are fixed by the module.

Tips

  1. The HH65 pedal provides open/closed switching only — no half-open or continuous control.
  2. Trigger parameters cannot be adjusted on this entry-level module.
