Wiring: 1× TRS → HI-HAT connector on the DB-25 cable snake + 1× TRS → HHC connector on the DB-25 cable snake
Continuous hi-hat control via the cable snake.
Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the HI-HAT connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat controller pedal to the HHC connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- Press [SETUP], then [F1] (TRIG), then [F1] (TYPE).
- Hit the hi-hat to select the HI-HAT input (or use the CURSOR buttons).
- Set "Trig Type" to VH11 (V-Hi-Hat) with [+/-].
- Press [F2] (BASIC) to fine-tune "Sensitivity" (1-32) and "Threshold" (0-31).
Tips
- Continuous pedal control provides smooth open-to-closed transitions.
- Calibrate the hi-hat offset after connecting for accurate pedal response.
