Continuous hi-hat control via the cable snake.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the HI-HAT connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
  2. Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat controller pedal to the HHC connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Press the [MENU] button.
  2. Use the cursor buttons to select "SYSTEM" -> "TRIGGER", then press [ENTER].
  3. Press the [F4] (HI-HAT) button to open the TRIGGER - HI-HAT screen.
  4. Use the dial to set the Trig Type to VH-11 (or VH-10).
  5. While reading the on-screen meter, adjust the hi-hat's offset adjustment screw until the indicator is centered.
