Hi-Hat Controller Sensor on Donner DED-300X

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the Hi-Hat Controller Sensor when used with the Donner DED-300X.

Setup — Hi-Hat Controller Sensor on Donner DED-300X

Use as switch hi-hat

The Hi-Hat Controller Sensor works on the Donner DED-300X as a switch hi-hat: open/closed only.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: HI-HAT lead → hi-hat pad + the hi-hat-control lead → hi-hat controller, both on the signal-connection harness

The harness carries a discrete hi-hat-control lead, so the Lemon controller connects. This module's hi-hat channel follows the Alesis/Medeli convention, which reads a Roland-convention controller as open/closed. The pad channel is single-zone.
