Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the HI-HAT input on the rear panel.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat controller pedal to the HH CTRL input on the rear panel.
Module settings
- Press [SETUP], then press [F1 (TRIG)], and then press [F1 (BANK)].
- Navigate to the HI-HAT input.
- Set the pad type to match your hi-hat controller.
Tips
- Continuous pedal control provides smooth open-to-closed transitions.
- After turning on the power, do not press the hi-hat control pedal until the drum kit name appears in the display — otherwise open/close operations cannot be performed correctly.
