Hi-Hat Controller Sensor on Pearl Mimic Pro

Module settings

1. Select the Hi-Hat in the trigger-instrument window, then select the preset for your hi-hat pad.
2. Set the hi-hat up so the top hat barely touches the controller's contact point at rest, with no pressure on it. Then, with the hi-hat closed, set Input Gain per the on-screen text.
3. Open the TRIGGER → HH Control → HH Pos tab and use the Capture Close/Open Position function to dial in the fully-closed and fully-open controller positions — Pearl recommends this over setting the Full Open and Extra Tight Closed faders by hand.
4. Fine-tune the Hi-Hat Control Curve to taste between the Extra Tight Closed, Max Open, and Close/Open Border points.
5. Save the result with SAVE PAD SETTINGS AS A PRESET (the Settings button beside the preset name bar).
