Cable routing
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat pad to the HI-HAT connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
- Connect a ¼″ TRS cable from the hi-hat controller to the Hi-Hat Control connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- Press the [SETUP] button.
- Use the cursor buttons to select "TRIGGER", then press [ENTER].
- Press the [F4] (HI-HAT) button to open the TRIGGER - HI-HAT screen.
- Use the [-] [+] buttons or the dial to set the Trig Type to VH-11 (or VH-10).
- Loosen the clutch and set the resting gap by raising or lowering the cymbal on the controller until the hi-hat reads open with your foot off the pedal.
Tips
- Continuous pedal control provides smooth open-to-closed transitions.
- Set the resting gap with the clutch after connecting — a Lemon hi-hat has no offset adjustment screw.
