Setup details by role

Snare pad 2-zone 1× TRS → SNARE lead on the signal-connection harness

The DED-300X snare channel is dual-zone — head and rim trigger as separate MIDI notes, and a rimshot articulation is available via the XSTICK ADJ setting (MENU > AMBIENCE). Pads connect through a labeled multi-pin harness that plugs into the module's parallel-port connector.

Tom pad 2-zone 1× TRS per tom → TOM1/TOM2/TOM3 leads on the signal-connection harness; Tom 4 → TOM4 jack on the rear panel (1/4" TRS)

All four tom channels are dual-zone — head and rim both trigger as separate MIDI notes. Toms 1-3 connect through the signal-connection harness; Tom 4 uses the dedicated TOM4 expansion jack on the rear panel.

Kick pad Works 1× TS or TRS → KICK lead on the signal-connection harness

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

2-zone crash 2-zone 1× TRS → CRASH1 lead on the signal-connection harness, or the discrete CRASH2 expansion jack

Dual-zone crash confirmed on the Crash inputs.

3-zone ride 2-zone 1× TRS: Ride 1 (bow/edge) → RIDE lead on the signal-connection harness

Plug the Lemon ride's Ride 1 cable into the Ride input for bow + edge — no cymbal modification. The DED-300X has a single Ride input, so two of the Lemon ride's zones reach the module.

Hi-hat Continuous (kit pedal) 1× TRS → HI-HAT lead on the signal-connection harness; keep the kit's own control pedal — the Lemon controller has no jack to connect to

The DED-300X reads pedal position from its own stock control pedal — open, half-open, and closed all trigger — with the half-open threshold adjustable via the Half HC ADJ utility (p.12). The pad channel is single-zone.
