The DED-300X reads pedal position from its own stock control pedal — open, half-open, and closed all trigger — with the half-open threshold adjustable via the Half HC ADJ utility (p.12). The pad channel is single-zone.
Cable routing
- Connect the Lemon hi-hat pad to the HI-HAT lead on the module's signal-connection harness.
- Keep the kit's own control pedal in place — it provides the pedal position; the Lemon controller has no jack to connect to.
Module settings
- MENU > SENSITIVITY > select Hi-Hat > PS, RS, THREH, XTALK, RETRIGER, VOLUME.
- MENU > UTILITY > Half HC ADJ adjusts the half-open/close pedal threshold (p.12).
