- Plug the “HH” lead on the DB-25 cable snake into the hi-hat pad.
- Plug the “HHC” lead on the DB-25 cable snake into the hi-hat controller.
Module settings
- Press [SETUP], then [F1] (TRIG), then [F1] (TYPE).
- Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to "H" (HI-HAT).
- Set "Trig Type" to VH11 with [+/-].
- Press [F2] (BASIC) to fine-tune "Sensitivity" (1-32) and "Threshold" (0-31).
- Press [F3] (ADVNCD) then [F3] (HI-HAT) and confirm "Hi-Hat Type" reads VH11 — selecting the VH11 trigger type normally sets it for you.
Tips
- Continuous pedal control provides smooth open-to-closed transitions.
- Set the resting gap with the clutch after connecting — a Lemon hi-hat has no offset adjustment screw.
