The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via the center piezo and the rim piezo.

- Plug the branch of the multi-pin cable harness labeled "To Snare" into the snare pad. The harness ends in a multi-pin connector that plugs into the Multi-Pin Connection Jack on the bottom of the module; apart from the side-panel TOM 4 and CRASH 2 jacks, every pad reaches the SD1500 through the harness.
Module settings
- Press [UTILITY], then [MENU] to open Trigger Setup.
- Select the Snare input (strike the pad or use its Pad Select button).
- Step with [PAGE -/+] and adjust Sensitive, Thresh, Curve, Retrig-C, X-Talk, Splash-S.
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo mounted under the head.
- On an input that reads head and rim, if the wrong zone plays, tune the module's head/rim settings for this pad's size; values set for a different-size pad may not carry over.
