T550 12" Snare on Donner DED-200

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Snare when used with the Donner DED-200.

The T550 12" Snare works on your Donner DED-200 with reduced zones.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → Snare connector on the cable harness

The DED-200 is an entry-level module and the Snare input is single-zone only. Only the head zone will trigger; rim hits will not produce a separate sound.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the Snare connector on the cable harness.

Module settings

MENU > SENSITIVITY > select Snare > PS, THRESH, XTALK, RETRIG, VOLUME.

Tips

Only the head (center piezo) triggers — the rim switch on the pad is ignored by this module.
A TS cable also works since only the tip signal is read.
