Setup — T550 12" Snare on Yamaha DTX700

Reduced — 1-zone (head only)

The T550 12" Snare works on your Yamaha DTX700 with reduced zones.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. TRIGGER button > select Snare > Trigger Setup: adjust Pad Type, Gain, Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk Cancel, Retrigger Cancel.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
