Works

The T550 12" Snare is fully supported on your GEWA G3.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake

The snare input on the cable snake supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

  1. [TRIGGER SET] button > SETTINGS > SETUP.
  2. Trigger display shows inputs as: [K S T T T R H C A A].
  3. Navigate to S (Snare) and adjust parameters like Sensitivity, Threshold, and Curve.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
