Wiring: 1× TRS → Snare connector on the cable harness
The DED-200X shares the DED-200 electronics; the snare channel is dual-zone — the head and the rim/sidestick trigger as separate MIDI notes. Pads connect through a labeled multi-pin harness that plugs into the module's parallel (DB25) trigger port.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the Snare connector on the cable harness.
Module settings
- In DRUM KIT mode, press MENU, select SENSITIVITY, and press ENTER.
- Tap the snare pad to select it (shown as SN), press UP/DOWN to pick a parameter, and turn the encoder: SEN (drum sensitivity 01-06), THREH. (trigger threshold 01-32), XTALK (crosstalk 01-32), RETR. (repeat trigger 01-32), VOL (volume 00-127).
- Press SAVE to store the settings.
Tips
- Snare MIDI notes: head (S1) = 38, rim/sidestick (S2) = 37.
- MENU > MIDI NOTE lets you remap any zone's MIDI value if you use external software.
