Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Snare when used with the Alesis Nitro Pro.

Yes — the T550 12" Snare works as a full snare on the Alesis Nitro Pro: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → Snare connector on the 25-pin cable snake

The Snare connector on the cable snake supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the Snare connector on the 25-pin cable snake.

Press the Mode button until Normal Mode (Kit, Voice, Song) is active.
Hit the snare pad you want to adjust so the module selects that input.
Press the Utility button repeatedly until SEN (Pad sensitivity) appears, then set it with the - and + buttons.
Press Utility until THR (Pad threshold) appears, then set it with the - and + buttons.
Press Utility until R-S (Pad rim sensitivity) appears, then set the rim response with the - and + buttons.
Press Save to keep the settings — otherwise they return to defaults when you power the module off.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
