The snare input is dual-zone (head + rim): the module's own note defaults list Snare – Center and Snare – Rim as separate MIDI notes.

- Plug the branch of the multi-pin cable harness labeled "To Snare" into the snare pad.
Module settings
- Press the SETUP button, then strike the snare pad to select it — use the LEDs to the right side of the display to see which pad is selected for editing.
- Press SETUP repeatedly to step through Sens, Retrigger, Threshold, Curve, and X-Talk for that input.
- Press SETUP until you reach Ratio and turn it up to make the rimshot more sensitive — the manual documents this parameter as working on the snare as well as the toms.
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo mounted under the head.
- On an input that reads head and rim, if the wrong zone plays, tune the module's head/rim settings for this pad's size; values set for a different-size pad may not carry over.
