T550 12" Snare on Simmons Titan 20

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Snare when used with the Simmons Titan 20.

The T550 12" Snare is fully supported on your Simmons Titan 20.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness

The snare input on the cable harness is dual-zone per the Titan 20 manual (p.6 lists Snare as Dual Zone). Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Module settings

MENU > TRIGGER > select Snare > adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Rim Sensitivity.

Tips

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
