Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Snare when used with the ATV aD5.

Yes — the T550 12" Snare works as a full snare on the ATV aD5: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Set trigger sensitivity, threshold, and crosstalk for the snare input from the ATV aD5's own trigger menu — see the ATV aD5 manual for the exact button sequence and parameter names.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
