Yes — the T950 13"x5" Snare Drum works as a full snare on the Simmons Titan 50: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness

The snare input on the cable harness is dual-zone. Stock snare is a 10" Dual Zone pad (head + rim switch).

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Press the SETUP button, then strike the snare to select it (the LED to the right of the display shows the selected input).
Press SETUP repeatedly to step through Sens, Retrigger, Threshold, Curve, and X-Talk.
For the head/rim balance set Ratio — on the snare, Ratio also raises rimshot sensitivity.

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
