Works

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Simmons SD1250.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness

The snare input on the cable harness supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Module settings

  1. MENU > TRIGGER SET > select Snare > adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, and Curve.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
