Setup — T950 13"x5" Snare Drum on Roland TD-07

Reduced — 1-zone (head only)

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum works on your Roland TD-07 with reduced zones.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake

The Roland TD-07 snare input is single-zone — only the head piezo is read. Rim hits on a dual-zone pad will not produce a separate sound.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Press [SETUP] > Pad Settings.
  2. Strike the snare pad or navigate to the SNARE input.
  3. Set the pad type to a corresponding preset, like PD-128S or PD-105.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
