Works

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Roland TD-27.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake

Dual-zone triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The module's snare input reads both piezo (head) and rim switch/piezo signals.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Press [SETUP] > Pad Settings > Trig Type.
  2. Navigate to the SNARE input.
  3. Set the trigger type to PD-128S or PD-140DS depending on your pad size.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
