Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake

Dual-zone triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The module's snare input reads both piezo (head) and rim switch/piezo signals.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

Module settings

In the DRUM KIT screen, press [MENU], scroll to the SYSTEM icon, press [F3] (SYSTEM), select "Pad Settings", then press [F3] (ENTER).
Press [F1] (TYPE), then strike the snare pad to select the SNR input.
Turn the value dial to set Pad Type to PD-128 or PD-105.
Press [F2] (BASIC) and set Sensitivity and Threshold for the snare.

Tips

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
