Works

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Simmons SD2000.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. TRIGGER button > select Snare > Input Settings: adjust Gain, Threshold, Sensitivity, Crosstalk, Retrigger, Mask Time.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
