The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Alesis DM7X.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → Snare connector on the cable snake

The Snare connector on the cable snake supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the Snare connector on the cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Access the trigger settings menu on the module.
  2. Select the Snare input and adjust Sensitivity and Threshold if available.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
