Head
Rim
Wiring: 1× TRS → SNR connector on the trigger input cable
Dual-zone snare triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The TD-4 reads both head piezo and rim switch/piezo signals on the SNR input.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNR connector on the trigger input cable.
Module settings
- Press [MENU] > 8 PAD SETTINGS and press [OK].
- Strike the snare or use SEL to navigate to the SNARE input.
- Set the Pad Type to PDX-8, PD-85, or PD-105 depending on your pad size.
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
- Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
- Set Head/Rim Link to OFF in the OPTIONS menu if you want to edit head and rim parameters independently.
