Module settings

Press [MENU], choose "8 PAD SETTINGS" with the SEL buttons, and press [OK].
Strike the snare to select its input (or turn the [-/+] dial at the MENU screen to pick it).
Use the SEL buttons to select "Pad Type", then set it with the [-/+] dial to PD-105, PD-85, or PDX-8 to match your snare.
If soft or hard hits don't register cleanly, adjust "Sensitivity" (1-32) in PAD SETTINGS, and "Threshold" under Advanced Edit.

Tips

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from a second piezo mounted under the head.
Set Head/Rim Link to OFF in the OPTIONS menu if you want to edit head and rim parameters independently.
On an input that reads head and rim, if the wrong zone plays, tune the module's head/rim settings for this pad's size; values set for a different-size pad may not carry over.
