Wiring: 1× TRS → Snare branch on the multi-pin trigger snake
Dual-zone snare with a third articulation: the DM-8 reads head, rim, and rim-shot (tri-zone), all over one TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim). A standard dual-zone Lemon snare drives head and rim natively.
Cable routing
- Plug the Lemon snare pad into the labeled SNARE branch of the bundled trigger snake.
Module settings
- Press MENU > TRIGGER and hit the snare to select it.
- Check PAD TYPE matches the connected pad; tune SENSITIVITY / THRESHOLD for the head, RIM GAIN / HEAD RIM ADJUST and RIM SHOT SENSITIVITY for the rim and cross-stick.
- Use SPLIT (in the pad sound settings) to assign separate head and rim voices.
Tips
- Head triggers from the center piezo, rim from the rim switch — both on the one TRS cable.
- Per-zone MIDI notes are editable under MENU > MIDI NOTE.
