Works

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Simmons SD1200.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness

The snare input on the cable harness supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

Module settings

  1. MENU > SENSITIVITY > select Snare > PS, RS, THRESH, XTALK, RETRIG, VOLUME.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
