Yes — the T950 13"x5" Snare Drum works as a full snare on the Roland TD-30: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

Dual-zone triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The module's snare input reads both piezo (head) and rim switch/piezo signals.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

Press the [TRIGGER] button.
Press the [F1] (BANK) button to open the TRIGGER BANK screen.
Select the SNARE input (strike the pad or use the TRIG SELECT buttons).
Use the [-] [+] buttons or the dial to set the trigger type to PD-128S (or PD-128).
For finer control, press [F2] (SENS) and adjust Sensitivity on the TRIGGER SENSITIVITY screen.

Tips

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
