Yes — the T950 13"x5" Snare Drum works as a full snare on the Roland TD-12: head + rim.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

Dual-zone triggering: head (tip) and rim (ring) respond independently via the single TRS connection. The module's snare input reads both piezo (head) and rim switch/piezo signals.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

Press [TRIGGER], then [F1 (BANK)].
Strike the snare to select its input (the cursor moves to the struck pad).
Use [+/-] or [VALUE] to set the "Trigger Type" to PD105 or PD125 to match your snare.
Press [F2 (BASIC)] to fine-tune "Sensitivity" (1-32) and "Threshold" (0-31).

Tips

Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
