Works

The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum is fully supported on your Alesis Nitro.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → Snare connector on the 25-pin cable snake

The Snare connector on the cable snake supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the Snare connector on the 25-pin cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Go to Utility > use Page/Select buttons to navigate: SEN (Sensitivity), THR (Threshold), CUR (Curve).
  2. Select the Snare input and adjust parameters.
  3. R-S (Rim Sensitivity) controls rim zone response.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
