The T950 13"x5" Snare Drum works on your Yamaha DTX-PRO with reduced zones.

Head Rim

Wiring: 1× TRS → SNARE input (1/4" TRS jack)

The snare input supports dual-zone (head + rim) triggering via center piezo and rim switch.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TRS cable from the snare pad to the SNARE input on the rear panel.

Module settings

  1. Refer to the DTX-PRO manual for menu navigation. Adjust trigger parameters including Sensitivity, Threshold, and Crosstalk for the Snare input.

Tips

  1. Head triggers from the center piezo, rim triggers from the rim switch.
  2. Both zones respond independently on the TRS connection (tip = head, ring = rim).
