WorksThe T550 12" Kick is fully supported on your Roland TD-1.
Trigger
Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK connector on the DB-25 cable snake
Single-zone kick trigger via the cable snake. Only the head zone is active.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK connector on the DB-25 cable snake.
Module settings
- Long-press the metronome button, then press [Select] to blink the Tempo lamp (Change Pad Type).
- Press the kick pedal so the display shows the kick setting, then use [-] [+] to set the kick pad type (1 = TD-1 default, 2 = KD-9, 3 = KT-9 / KT-10).
- Press the metronome button to confirm.
Tips
- Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
- A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
