T550 12" Kick on GEWA G3

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the GEWA G3.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the GEWA G3: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK input (1/4" TRS jack)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK input on the rear panel.

Press the [TRIGGER SET.] button to enter Trigger Set mode.
Turn the dial [5] [<INPUT>] to select the KICK input.
Press [F1] "Settings".
Turn the dial [5] to Gain and set it with the dial [7] so your hardest stroke reaches full velocity, then do the same for Threshold so light knocks are ignored.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
