Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the Simmons SD2000.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Simmons SD2000: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK lead on the multi-pin pad harness

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK lead on the module's multi-pin pad harness (the harness plugs into the Serial Connection Jack on the bottom of the module).

Press [Utility], then the Function soft-key under "Trigger" on the Main Utility screen.
Select the Kick input (Follow Trigger — strike it — or Current Trigger).
Adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Curve, Retrigger, Crosstalk, Splash Sensitivity.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
