T550 12" Kick on Simmons Titan 50

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the Simmons Titan 50.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Simmons Titan 50: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → the "To Kick" branch of the multi-pin cable harness

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the branch of the multi-pin cable harness labeled "To Kick".

Press the SETUP button, then strike the kick to select it.
Press SETUP repeatedly to step through Sens, Retrigger, Threshold, Curve, and X-Talk.
If you play a double-kick pedal, set the Hi-Hat screen in SETUP to "Hi-Hat: Mid" or "Hi-Hat: Cl" for a fixed closed hi-hat sound while both feet are on the kick; stepping on the hi-hat pedal returns it to "Hi-Hat: Pedal" (p.18).

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
