T550 12" Kick on Simmons SD1250

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the Simmons SD1250.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Simmons SD1250: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK connector on the DB-25 cable harness

Single-zone kick trigger via the cable harness. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK connector on the DB-25 cable harness.

In Utility mode, press the Function button under Trigger on the Main Utility screen (Utility → Trigger F1).
Select the Kick pad via Follow Trigger (strike it) or Current Trigger, then adjust Sensitivity, Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, and Curve.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
