T550 12" Kick on Yamaha DTX-PRO

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Yamaha DTX-PRO: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS → KICK input (paired 1/4" jack)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

After connecting the pad, set PadType (MENU/Trigger/Pad Type) to the KK entry that matches your pad — the Reference Manual prints KP125W/125, KP100, KP90, KP65 and KU100 (p.37).
Set Gain (1–127) and Sensitivity (1–13) on the same page for an even kick response (p.38).

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
The KICK jack is a paired input — Yamaha uses its second half for another pad, through the input jack on the back of a kick pad such as the KP90 or through a Y-cable (Owner's Manual p.57). Use a TS cable for a single-zone Lemon kick: it grounds that unused second half, where a TRS cable would leave it open.
