T550 12" Kick on Alesis Nitro

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the Alesis Nitro.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Alesis Nitro: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → Kick connector on the 25-pin cable snake

Single-zone kick trigger via the cable snake. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the Kick connector on the 25-pin cable snake.

Trigger the kick pad with the pedal, or press its corresponding Pad Select button, so the module selects that input.
Press Utility, then press Page/Select until the setting you want appears: SEN (Pad sensitivity), THR (Pad threshold), CRO (Pad crosstalk), or CUR (Pad velocity curve).
Set the value with the < and > buttons.
Press Save to keep the settings — otherwise they return to defaults when you power the module off.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
