Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the 2Box DrumIt 3.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the 2Box DrumIt 3: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK input (1/4" TRS jack)

Single-zone kick trigger. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK input on the rear panel.

Go to UNIT mode and page to the UNIT-TRIG page (PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN).
Select the KICK channel by hitting the kick pad or with the CHANNEL UP / CHANNEL DOWN buttons.
Set TYPE to Kick1 (faster response) or Kick2 (slower response).
Set GAIN so all LED-meter segments light on the hardest hit.
Set THRES for the lightest stroke you want to register (range -48 to -18 dB).
Set CURVE to match your playing dynamics.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
