T550 12" Kick on Roland TD-25

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the Roland TD-25.

Yes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Roland TD-25: single zone.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KICK connector on the DB-25 cable snake

Single-zone kick trigger via the cable snake. Only the head zone is active.

Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KICK connector on the DB-25 cable snake.

In the KIT screen, press [F3] (MENU), then [F3] (SETUP) to open the SETUP screen.
Select "Trigger Settings" to open the TRIGGER SETTINGS screen, then strike the kick or select the KICK input.
Use the [INSTRUMENT] knob to set the Pad type to the model that matches your kick pad.
Use the [F2]/[F3] buttons to select "Sensitivity" and turn the [INSTRUMENT] knob to adjust it.

Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
