WorksThe T550 12" Kick is fully supported on your Roland TD-4.
Trigger
Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → KIK connector on the trigger input cable
Single-zone kick trigger via the cable snake. Only the head zone is active.
Cable routing
- Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the KIK connector on the trigger input cable.
Module settings
- Press [MENU] > 8 PAD SETTINGS and press [OK].
- Press the kick or use SEL to navigate to the KIK input.
- Set the Pad Type to KD-8, KD-85, or KD-120 depending on your kick pad.
Tips
- Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
- A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
