T550 12" Kick on Audiofront eDRUMin
Setup — T550 12" Kick on Audiofront eDRUMin
WorksYes — the T550 12" Kick works as a full kick on the Audiofront eDRUMin: single zone.
Trigger
Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → any eDRUMin input (1/4" TRS jack)
All inputs are universal and configurable. Single-zone kick trigger.
Cable routing
- Connect the kick pad to any available eDRUMin input using a standard 1/4" TS or TRS cable.
- Models: eDRUMin 4 (4 inputs + 1 pedal), eDRUMin 8 (8 + 1 pedal), eDRUMin 10 (10 + 2 pedals). All inputs are universal.
Module settings
- Open the eDRUMin Control Application and select the kick input (Auto-Select: hit the pad, or click it in the Input Selector).
- If a matching factory preset exists, open the Preset Manager, select the input and double-click it — then skip to the fine-tuning step.
- Otherwise open the Trigger Editor and set Input Mode to Mono (single-zone).
- Press the Pad Type Selector and choose the single-zone pad type that matches your kick trigger.
- Use Activate Calibrate Mode, then hit the pad to auto-set Gain, Thresh, Scan, Hold.
- Fine-tune Gain, Thresh, Scan, Hold, Decay, Crosstalk, and the Velocity Curves as needed.
Tips
- The eDRUMin is a MIDI trigger interface — it converts pad signals to MIDI for a DAW, VST, or external sound module.
- Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
- A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
T550 12" Kick also fits 73 other drum modules — see setup
