Setup — T550 12" Kick on Alesis DM7X

Works

The T550 12" Kick is fully supported on your Alesis DM7X.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS or TRS → Kick connector on the cable snake

Single-zone kick trigger via the cable snake. Only the head zone is active.

Cable routing

  1. Connect a 1/4" TS or TRS cable from the kick pad to the Kick connector on the cable snake.

Module settings

  1. Access the trigger settings menu on the module.
  2. Select the Kick input and adjust Sensitivity and Threshold if available.

Tips

  1. Single-zone operation — only the head zone is active.
  2. A TS cable is sufficient for single-zone kick pads; TRS also works (ring is unused).
