T550 12" Kick on Alesis Strike MultiPad

Wiring, module settings, and tips for the T550 12" Kick when used with the Alesis Strike MultiPad.

The T550 12" Kick is fully supported on your Alesis Strike MultiPad.

Trigger

Wiring: 1× TS → Trigger In 1 (single-zone), or a 2 Trigger split leg

Single-zone kick trigger. Trigger In 1 is the dedicated single-zone (TS) jack and suits a kick directly. Alternatively, set a dual-zone jack (2/3 or 4/5) to Type = 2 Trigger and use a TRS-to-dual-TS Y-cable so the kick shares that jack with another single-zone pad.

Cable routing

Connect a 1/4" TS cable from the Lemon kick pad to Trigger In 1.

Module settings

Press [Trigger] and select Trigger In 1 (TRIN1).
Set Sensitivity and Threshold so a firm kick triggers cleanly without false hits.
Raise Mask Time if a single kick produces a double sound from beater rebound.
Assign a kick sample to that trigger input.

Tips

A TS cable is sufficient — Trigger In 1 is single-zone.
If you need Trigger In 1 elsewhere, route the kick through a 2 Trigger jack with a Y-cable instead.
