The 12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals works on the Simmons Titan 20 as a switch hi-hat: open/closed only.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad + pedal → Hi-Hat connector on the 25-pin cable harness

Single-zone hi-hat pad with foot controller pedal. Hi-hat is single-zone per specs (p.6).

Press [SETUP] repeatedly until the parameter you want appears, then strike the hi-hat pad to view its current setting (p.19).
Use the [ - ] / [ + ] buttons to set "SEn" (Pad Sensitivity), "thr" (Threshold), "Cur" (Trigger Curve — "nor"/"dyn"/"Esy"/"Fid"), "r-C" (Retrigger Cancel), and "tAL" (Pad Crosstalk); "not" sets the pad's MIDI note (p.19).
