Cable routing
- Connect the hi-hat pad and pedal via the cable snake.
Module settings
- In DRUM KIT mode, press MENU, use the encoder or UP/DOWN to select SENSITIVITY, then press ENTER.
- Press UP/DOWN to pick a parameter, tap the hi-hat pad to select it (shown as HH), and turn the encoder to set the value.
- Set SEN (drum sensitivity, 01-06) so your normal stroke registers at full volume.
- Set THREH. (trigger threshold, 01-32) so light knocks don't trigger the pad.
- Raise XTALK (crosstalk threshold, 01-32) if a neighbouring pad false-triggers this one, and RETR. (repeat trigger, 01-32) if you get double triggers.
- Set VOL (volume, 00-127) to balance the pad against the rest of the kit.
- Press SAVE to store the settings.
Tips
- The hi-hat pedal is switch-type only — open and closed states.
- No continuous pedal control or half-open articulations.
