Wiring, module settings, and tips for the 12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals when used with the Donner DED-200.

The 12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals works on the Donner DED-200 as a switch hi-hat: open/closed only.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad + pedal switch → module via the DB25 signal-connection cable

Basic open/closed pedal switching. No continuous control.

In DRUM KIT mode, press MENU, use the encoder or UP/DOWN to select SENSITIVITY, then press ENTER.
Press UP/DOWN to pick a parameter, tap the hi-hat pad to select it (shown as HH), and turn the encoder to set the value.
Set SEN (drum sensitivity, 01-06) so your normal stroke registers at full volume.
Set THREH. (trigger threshold, 01-32) so light knocks don't trigger the pad.
Raise XTALK (crosstalk threshold, 01-32) if a neighbouring pad false-triggers this one, and RETR. (repeat trigger, 01-32) if you get double triggers.
Set VOL (volume, 00-127) to balance the pad against the rest of the kit.
Press SAVE to store the settings.
