The 12" 2-Piece Electronic Hi-Hat Cymbals works on the Simmons SD1250 as a switch hi-hat: open/closed only.

Continuous Open Closed

Wiring: 1× TRS pad + pedal → Hi-Hat input (via cable harness)

The Lemon hi-hat pad and pedal controller connect through the cable harness and deliver reliable open and closed hi-hat.

In Utility mode, press the Function button under Trigger on the Main Utility screen (Utility → Trigger F1).
Select the Hi-Hat pad via Follow Trigger (strike it) or Current Trigger, then set Sensitivity (1-32), Threshold, Crosstalk, Retrigger, Curve (1-4).

The Lemon hi-hat pad and pedal give reliable open and closed hi-hat — open with the pedal up, closed with the pedal pressed.
